Thanks Cobb. I'm going to order one and give it a try. The stock bulb is just too dim for the cargo area.

Hey dude, did this end up working for you? My IN2 doesn't come w/a trunk light (I'm from Malaysia)... so I'm lookin' @ installing one on my own.

Ive seen many universal touch lights and cargo lights here in America. My first thought was to recommend buying the US lamp if you have a vent in the rear and swap it out.

yeah, i have the same plastic placeholder on the left.. should be able to easily swap that out w/a proper US lamp.

Any idea where I could order one online and ship it over? (I tried using search terms "insight boot light", "insight boot lamp" etc but couldn't find any leads)...

i got my boot lamp installed today... finally! went with a 12-LED set. fits snugly in the spot where the boot lamp should be. shines a brilliant whitish/blueish light:

I'll get more shots up @ nite one of these days... w/my SLR. Much easier to get an accurate idea of the light output

Wow, looks oem. Does it work with the hatch or do you have a button somewhere? Like the 2 tone plastic trim, mines is all grey including the seats and carpet.
