Hi everyone,
I just picked up a set of Tanabe DF210 lowering spring on Ebay for $120! yeah..what a steal should get it sometimes next week. The drop is 1.5in in front and 2.0in in the back. I'm afraid this drop will mess up the alignment....the camber in particular. I have the HR springs in my NSX and it really mess up the camber in the rear...making my tires worn out after about 15K miles...and the bad thing is I can't even find a camber kit for it.
I was wondering if any member has this spring installed and if I will need a camber kit to correct the alignment? Or if the camber kit even available for purchase?
Thanks all!
i lowered my I2 with tanabes too ( 1'' ) and i had to get the car realigned
i think i heard everytime you lower the car you have to realign it
but i thout the carber kit was only for coilover
coilover bend in the tires when you lower the car and some guy at the shop told me the camber kit was only for keeping the tires from bendin in, like still stayin straight just like as using lowering springs
When you lower most cars you throw off the toe and camber. The toe is the most important. Camber is next. Since I got new tires I wanted to make sure I had it right or best I could. 3 degrees is still within spec for camber, but toe is suppose to be at zero.

Great..thanks Cobb. I'll check it out. What about the kit for the rear tires? You said your camber is in 3 degree but it's still within specs? Is it on both front and rear? I thought that would be out of specs... Do you notice any uneven wear on your tires? Like more on the inside? My Tanabe DF210 will drop my car 2 inches in the rear and 1.5 inches in the front. Anyhow, I think I will get the car alignment checked after the springs are installed.
Since we use a trailling arm there is no adjustment and the rear was fine, just the front was tilted in a few degrees at the top. No uneven tire wear and thats running 44psi too.
