Yup, I lost it and threw a hand full of washers down the intake, LOL. Just kidding, I actually was t boned
Gotcha you again. I got tired of the silver parts of the bumper and wheels, white plastic mirror turn signals and the chrome front and rear turn signal indicators.
I masked off the side mirror and rear turn signals for some tail light spray tint. I gave each 3 passes at 12 inches. It dulled the finish and gave it a wicked smoked look for the rears and fronts. The side mirrors are no longer that cheesie white plastic look.
The front turn signals and fogs I removed and sprayed seperately. I wanted to get teh ehads, but decided Ill take them apart and paint the inside as to not degrade light quality. The turn signals and fogs still seem bright. I just cleaned them and shot them
For the wheels I cleaned, sanded, primed twice and painted 3 times, but sides. I removed and painted the center caps, but did not get the lugs or valve stem caps.
The bumper I took apart to get the lower section and the upper section. I sanded, prined twice and painted 3 times. It has a bit of a mat fnish. I saw someone else do this, but it looked too glossy and wanted it a bit duller. The license plate bracket is easily flipped upside down and remounted by its 10 mm bolts. Its a tight fit, but it works.

"The side mirrors are no longer that cheesie white plastic look."
hope you werent talking bout me haha
i see you painted the grill too!! im glad i inspired you ( in case i did haha )
how did you take off the front logo?? pulled it off or pushed it off from behind??
you car looks nice but i recomend you to use tireshine so the wheels wont look too brown and can match the new black rims!
you forgot to paint the back logos black, thatd be pretty cool!
i already got my first chip on my badass black grill
Jay, it was 70 degrees the past 3 days in VA with 50 mph sustained winds. Today its 33 out, brrrrrr. Dont you love that VA weather?
Nope, not talking about you cheesie. I do not know why the side mirror is white vs clear like other cars or even chrome. Either way it would of gotton tinted.
The H logo just pulls right out, infact I was going to paint both, but snapped the front one off. I thought I had to teh dealer to see how the rear one attached before I break it. I plan on making the rear one black as well as the front. Id paint the area around the front logo red to match the paint.
The paint was slightly wet, so didnt want to use any shine that may mess up the finish. Painting in your back yard takes a week or so to try vs a paint shop that has IR lighting.
I love the license plate remount. Who know it could be flipped?

Have you 2 crazies considered Plasti-Dip? It puts a thin rubber coating on anything. In theory, it's designed to coat the handles of tools and simple stuff like that. I've used it for lots of things around the house.
It comes in aerosol spray or liquid to dip into. I think it would hold up well to racing trucks in the rain and the kind of stuff y'all do.
