Default cutting springs

so i lowered my car 1'' but i feel like its not lowed enough
specially since i rolled the front fenders, they make my car look like its lifter from the front ( bigger gap )

i think i heard you can cut the springs
is that true?? do you guys recomend that??

Tanabe sells the nf and df. THe df gives more of a drop. You can cut either springs, but it gives even more of a harsh ride and more opportunity to bottom out. Since you may need help with its trial and error. Id wait til someone trys the Fit coil overs as those you can adjust yourself withthe tool they come with.

I got the DF Tanabe and it looks pretty good. It lowers 1.5 in the front and 2.0 in in the rear. Just barely have enough room to fit one finger in the gap The only problem is I keep getting the tires hitting the fender when I go over a dip too fast...I will try posting some pics soon

i got the nf same as cobb i think
yeah i dont want to risk it what if cutting the springs was a bad idead im undecided

Yeah..I don't think cutting the spring is a good idea unless you know exactly what you are doing

If you are talking about lowering a Gen I Insight, it should be easy enough to find some beat down USED springs from high mileage wrecks. Measure and determine what you want and submit request to used car parts dealers.
