My 2011 Insight Mods

Here are some pics of the mods I've done so far on my 2011 Insight
1) 17" XXR rims with 215/45/17 Falken tires
2) DF Tanabe lowering spring....before and after pics below
2) LED driving light
3) White LED license plate light....changes to red when brake is applied
4) Sony head unit with USB input
5) Pioneer speakers with Dual subwoofer in the rear
6) LED switches..control foglight and driving light..in the vacant spots left of steering wheel

STICKIE!!!!! Wow, thats nice, welcome aboard.

Can you read the radio display ok? I could not and had to mount the radio on the bottom and the compartment on top.

Any reason for the second led indicator for the mirrors? Looks nice, Id be worried about being blinded or distracted.

Like the license plate light too. I wanted to a dd a flasher to the 3rd brake light if not make the whole red lense light up vs just the middle part.

Yeah..I can read the display okay. It's bright enough to see in the day. I was going to do a double din GPS system but $$ is a little tight so had to settle for this Sony system I got from Ebay for $100 including two speakers.
The led mirror turn signal...for drivers in my blind spot. I saw that on a lot of new cars now a day.
The license plate I picked up from Autozone for $20
The third brake light..now that's an interesting ideal Cobb...hmm..maybe that will be my next mod
FNG...the 9005 led bulb I bought that on Ebay from a seller from Hong Kong for like $6...looks pretty nice and bright ..even in the day.
