My insight needs mods please help : D

My 2010 Honda Insight EX just recovered after being stolen. Its going into the shop tomorrow. Been drivin the car all day and it feels srong! Cars got about 40k miles on it.

While its in the shop its getting some mods for better MPG/style.

MOD LIST:

RACING SEATS (lighter and more comfy than stock)

LED/HID (not sure I like how LEDs look)

BLACK WHEELS (Thinking about anodizing the stock ones black…not sure how to pick wheels)

UPHOLSTERY (Thin racing kind)

SPEAKERS (just want to replace the stock ones...i not planning to add a new head unit it stock one looks and works great.)

TINT ( can I go darker on driver side windows?)

I dont know anything about cars but this site is very helpful.
Also, I am looking for a shop in LA to take my car anyone got a spot?

Isn't that an EX?

LED can be added to the interior and a little wedge for the headlight. HID will improve brightness.

Wheels, I don't know what you like.

Tint, I don't know what is the legal limit for California.

Thanks! LEDs on the inside would be cool. Got a link/pic for them? I did a lot of research last night not much out there. This web site was a great find tons of info here! Most of the parts I found for insights are OEM. I have seen lots of pics of mugen but no web site slingin there after market stuff.

My main goal is to make adjustments that overall increase the ride experience without sacrificing MPG. I will be using this as a daily driver for the next two years at least.

Anybody know about a must have GPS/alarm trackin system. I want to personaly recover my vehicle if it get stolen again.

So... They found the car, it was in perfect working order plus 40 thousand miles on the odo? Any idea if they changed the oil? When I rented the prius it had the change oil reminder on, the rep just reset it and said I was ready to go.

Most of my mods are for mpg minus the sound setup. I just have the oem alarm. Been meaning to ask a cop about the cell phone installation into a car like on the Fit forums to see if its worth doing.

I'm in LA also, and I can tell you that "legally" you cant tint your front driver and passenger windows at all... But if you just look around you, well, everybody has all there windows tinted. Basically the unofficial rule is, the darker you tint your windows, the more attention you draw. Just avoid limo black, you'll be fine.

As far as a good shop in LA is concerned, I don't know, I'd like to find one myself.
