Default How in the world do you install DDM Tuning wiring harness?

I had the 35W DDM Tuning HID Kit and decided to sell them to a friend and get 55W for myself. After I installed it without the wiring harness it seemed fine until about 2 hours later when I tried to turn the light on, the driver side wouldn't turn on. I turned off and on a few times and each time it would be either the driver side or the passenger side or both that wouldn't turn on. After 4 to 5 tries all the bulbs fire up.

I'm guessing that the wiring harness needs to be installed to give it the power it needs to fire up all the time. I took out the wiring harness and I'm totally confused. DDM Tuning says one end goes to the ballast and the other end goes to the stock bulb connector and the positive and negative ends go on the battery and ground. The thing that confuses me is that... shouldn't power from the battery go to BOTH bulbs? It seems like DDM Tuning is telling me to connect just one bulb with the harness. Does this mean I'm suppose to have 2 harnesses so I can connect it to both bulbs?

I searched on this forum for a good hour now and I can't seem to find an answer. I'm either horrible at searching or it doesn't exist? Does anyone have pictures of how they installed the wiring harness with their 55W DDM Tuning HID Kit? Or is there something else wrong with the unit that a wiring harness can't fix?

With the harness you only need to use one stock power connector, and the other bulb draws power from the harness.

So basically the harness gets its power from one stock bulb power connector and the battery itself.

You'll end up having one stock bulb power connector dangling.

Yeah, what he said. If any thought was put into the instructions then it should suggest your put a piece of electrical tape over the end not used.

Thank you so much for the reply.

If I understood this correctly, the harness connects to the ballasts and then to the bulbs without using the stock bulb connector. But at least one of them has to be connected with the stock bulb connector? But the harness must be applied to both ballasts? Correct me if I'm wrong.

That should explain things better than me trying to type it out and probably giving more confusion than necessary.
