5th wheel for the i2
Ok, I got a nice 4 kilowatt pack with charger and battery controller. I got a hitch already to use as a mount, now all I need is a motor and speed controller. That is where I need help. I dont want to make the i2 electric, just a more efficient way to push or allow the car to coast. Heck, I may use this on my geo metro.
So, been looking at hub motors.  48v 800w E Bike Hub Motor Brushless Wheel Conversion R | eBay I see with a 16 inch wheel this will go 45mph. I was thinking of getting 2 for 1600 watts. The pack from my enginer kit is 48 volts.
Thanks for any suggestions or links. I see some listed for 1000 watts, they werent there the other day.
