Default How to open the A pillar cover?

Hi guys,

I intend to install a 4" reverse LCD monitor next to the rear view mirror. I need to pull the power from the fuse box and also the video cable from the rear hatch. Shall I route the video cable from the hatch to the car roof and all the way front or the usual hide it behind rear seat fender, pass the B pillar and near the fuse box then up again to the A pillar and finally next to rear view mirror.

Anyone know how to remove the cover on the A pillar or I can just do some fishing with a thick wire?

Thanks.

I have considered mounting a rear-view camera and LCD screen in my I-2 also. I wonder if the a-pillar has an air bag inside? Running a wire could interfere with that. I also want to install a coolant temp gauge and need to find a good location for that. Probably can't mount anything on the a-pillar.

One word for you... WIRELESS. You know they make those now for backup cams.

Is this the pillar next to the windshield? It contains an air bag near the top of it. How about tucking the wire between the plastic parts or pillar and windshield?
