Alarm signal button light

This might be a silly one but i 'm gonna ask anyway.
Does your alarm red button flash when pressed? The button itself, does it contain a light that flashes when pressed?
My I2 does not do that, never did! On the other hand, i came across a friend's car today that it does!
What on earth?
And if mine was always burned, how does it change? Do i have to remove the whole dashcover or something?

I dont think we have an alarm button? I do have a red lamp in the dash that blinks when the car is locked. I tried to buy the "alarm accessory" in the brochure, but was told its no longer sold by Honda.

Most alarm buttons are just indicators and on some vehicles include a glass break sensor.
