Default 16" Fit Alloy Wheels in Insight?

Does anyone know if the 16" inch alloy wheels for a Honda Fit will work on a 2010 Insight?

I like the 16" Cronos in Eurpope and Japan ... Are they available here in USA?

Thanks

Yes. They will 'fit'.

The same wheels are used on the Fit (Jazz in Europe and Japan) as on the Insight.
To be precise: 185/55/R16 6J 4X100

Not sure if you can get the Cronos wheels in the US, try ebay. They are quite expensive though, as Honda is not a budget brand in Europe as it is in the US.
My Honda dealer sells the Cronos wheels for about € 300 a piece ($ 450).

Here you can see which accessories are available for the Fit/Insight:

I see via College Hill Honda's accessories website that the 16" Alloy Wheel for the FIT requires a dealer to upgrade the vehicle's software to allow for the differences in tire pressure.

Is this software upgrade available for US Insights? I see in Europe and Japan 16" wheels are an official option for Insights, not in the US.

Thanks

In Europe and Japan the Insight/Fit don't have a TMPS system. This type of system is a typical US gimmick (kind of what foglights are in Europe...). "OMG...does your car have standard fog lights?????? I have to get me one of those!!....Only never to use them."

I guess the software 'upgrade' is not really an upgrade, but just different settings for the TMPS. I think your dealer should do this for free.

Looks like there is a software update for the different size wheels. See the Fit wheel upgrade instructions....

Default The answer...

Yes, the 16" alloys from the Fit will fit:

Hi all, btw. I am new here and had been researching this very question prior to jumping the gun. It really bugged me that no one had a definitive answer, so I decided to reply to this old thread with some pictures of my 16" Fit alloys on my Insight. Yes, I had to go with 185 55R16's... they are a pain to find in stock. No rubbing as far as I can see.

Pretty, huh?

Amazing what you can find on Ebay.
