Smile Which battery color should I pick?

I am leaning towards red since the car is red. 14 of these sticks in the i2, right? Man, thats a lot of weight in batteries. These sticks must weight 5 lbs each.

It's just shrink wrap, right?

A solid color is boring.

I think you should go for a checkerboard pattern. Do them all in white and cut 1 inch strips of black shrink wrap and space them in a 1 inch stagger.

I2 has 7 of the double sticks (at 4.8 lbs), so you've got green/orange. The single sticks are Gen-I and are 2.4lbs each.

You have already begun rebuilding packs for the i2? Please give us the details and if the "betterbattery" is available?

We've been rebuilding Gen-II batteries for years now (where do you think your sample battery came from?).

We will have a BetterBattery available for Gen-II cars toward the end of the year. There are some engineering changes to make them. Right now there isn't that much call for them (maybe one 2006+ Civic per month). We have yet to get an I2 or CRZ customer, but the cells are the same as the 2006+ Civic, so the BetterBattery packs will be available (and the price is based on the number of cells, so the I2 will be cheaper than the I1).

Stock cell capacity 6500 mAh

BetterBattery 8000 mAh

Ron says they are lighter, less internal resistance, and therefore run cooler.

Hmmm 23% improvement and 5F cooler, and I get a chance to hyper-mileage better than new?

Dear Santa....

Not lighter. Sorry. The same 2.4 lbs per stick.
