Arrow My 2010 Insight Progress

Over the past year and few months owning this car I have started to slowly progress towards making the style as genuine JDM as possible. Im not into the wings and body kits so none of that here... but I do appreciate quality parts and flush fitments.

It all started with the genuine Honda air visors, and splurged from there.

Enjoy.

Tanabe DF210 Coils
3M Carbon Vinyl Roof and Mirrors Matte Finish.
BBS RS Wheel Set. refinished, were originally on a 933 Porsche- All parts authentic BBS. Titanium polished hardware. Aluminum center hub nut.
Carbon BBS Centers
Falken Rubbers
Window Tint (*ceramic) w/ front visor
Shorty antenna from Blox
Rear wiper delete/antenna for XM
Spoon engine dressings
OEM Cargo Tray and Cover
OEM Honda Window Visors
OEM Nav.
OEM Blue Int.
OEM Red JDM Honda Badges (*2007 Civic Size)
Japan Car Club Registered. Okinawa Car Club.

Future Mods? Make this baby right hand drive. & get full Coil-overs from Tanabe. 5mm spacer with hub extension for proper stance. Widen the fenders. L.E.D. under handle lights @ un-lock. Paint the centers of my BBS factory Gold.

*The blue painters tape on the mirrors is temp. just have to let the vinyl set over the next couple days, then I can take it off.

Very nice! Love the contrast of the polished glossy white to the matte black. What size are those rims exactly, experience any rubbing? I appreciate your simple clean look, that's what I'm trying to achieve with my Insight.

Thank you!

The wheels don't rub at all, even when hitting weird spots on the 405 I cringe thinking they are going to rub in the wheel well or fender, but luckily the offset and tire size is perfect for the Tanabe DF210 drop.

The Wheels are 16" x 7.5" W. +35 offset. I purchased the centers with the exact offset so I would rub, that's what's cool about 3 piece wheel sets, you can pretty much dial in your sizes with out having to buy a whole new wheel.

Only a 1.5" lip. My next plan is to go staggered with a 3" lip in the rear, might do that in the next couple months..... just have to change out the lip on the rear wheels. Problem is I'll have to fit a 10" wide tire in the rear lol* will def. have to cut my fender wells and roll the rear fender.

The tires are 245s.

The Tanabe springs dropped my a solid 2.5" in the rear and 1.5" in the front from stock, but I want to be lower so coil overs are in mind soon. I'll sell my springs on here probably.

Thanks! I got the badges online, they are designed o.e.m. for a 2007 Civic, they fit nicely on our cars with minor modifications

The roof was done by Wannabe Racer | Gallery his name is Don Nyguen, amazing work. His shop in in Anahiem Hills. I can get you the connect if desired. He does all sorts of different finishes, anything you want 3M, he can get.

Im in South OC. like Huntington Beach Area.

If your not rubbing on the 405, then your set, that road is a disaster. Speaking of the 405 and new tires, have you seen a lot of improvement in handling at freeway speeds now that you have wider tires/lower stance?

Also, do you know of any respectable mechanics in the LA Area? I have a set of NF210s I need to install.
