Default Insight Horn Replacement Options?

Besides the Accord Upgrade, has anyone installed an aftermarket horn on their Insights? If so, which one?

I used a horn from a volvo. It sounds louder and more meaty than stock. I thought about adding 4 horns with a relay, going for 4 hellas, the air horn thing, then of course the train horn or the one that blows dixie.

In all honestly you should use your steering wheel to avoid stuff, than stop n blow at them. Thats what they taught at the drivers points course I took.

Can you post a video of how your Volvo Horn sounds?

Would a blind person be able to hear the horn if he couldn't see the video?

Maybe a recording would be better?

LOL

I'm probably going to install a horn from a Honda Accord. I've watched the videos on You Tube and it sounds pretty good. Better than the "meep meep" of the Insight Horn.

It would be easier for me to do a you tube video, but come on...

I have 2 pick n pull junk yards near me and I just grabbed a few horns. They let me have them for next to nothing.

I think Harbor Freight sells horns too if you want to get an air or Ou-ga style one.

I ordered an Accord Low horn today. When I get it and am ready to install it, I'll post a before and after video; to compare the sounds.
