Help from those with a service manual!

Hello! I need to replace one of my air vents (or outlet assemblies as Honda calls them)... are there any instructions in the service manual on how to do this? I'm conscious not to damage anything!

Worst case it'll be off the dealer $$$£££$$$!

Is this for the 2010 and later? Where is the "air vent" located? Why does it need to be replaced?

Hi Cobb... it's a 2010 that I have.

The previous owner (idiot!) has damaged the passenger side vent and the vent above the heating control. Looks like they tried to attach something to them with a combination of glue and drilling - bit of a mess!

The price was reflected when I bought the car and I've decided that whilst replacing the two, I'll go the whole way and replace all 4 with the chrome ringed version from the 2011 face lift (and the matching heater ring for good measure!). Got the parts on special order:

2*77630-TM8-A11ZA Outside
2*77620-TM8-A11ZA Inside

And to get the heater control ring to match:
79560-TM8-A02ZB RING, HEATER CONTROL (Chrome)

Although I have a RHD version, I guess the same procedure applies!

Might want to go to your local Harbor Freight or tool store and get some pop panel tools.
