Default Bilstein front struts

I wish I could offer more help, but I just have no to bad experience with shocks. As is with the tanabe dfs and the junk I like to haul in my trunk I am bottoming out, bouncing on the bump stops. In this case shocks wouldnt help me unless they were air assisted.

I had the nfs and developed a creaking in the drivers side rear. It seemed the spring had worn more than the passengers side or had a flaw in it. I decided to go lower and went with df vs nfs again.

Cant tell much in mpg. I am mixed on the ride over all from the nfs.

Many people on the fit forum rave about the swift sport springs over the tanabe. Perhaps you should look into those. Thanks for the input.

Ill keep that in mind if I see a Fit hang with me or pass me doing 70+ on the 2 and 3 lane wide merges for various interchanges.

In my experience with hotschkis(SP?), TRD, Tanabe and Eibach springs, Eibach wins. I had a set of their prosports on my scion xa. They removed the bumps from the pavement gaps, but a pot hole would make for a nice bounce.

The TRD was mild as well as the others. hotschkis makes some nice sway bars, but their springs were so-so.
