My coworker is friends with Sunny Wong, I have been trying to get in touch for a week now. I will be up in the bay area in about 2 months and I plan to stop by Franklin's and find out what they did. From my understanding our rear axle is build spec for drums, there is no mount for the rear calipers. I am going to check in some more but it looks like in the UK they have BEAM ASSY., RR. AXLE (DISK), and the US has BEAM ASSY., RR. AXLE (DRUM 200). There is an extra welded piece for the caliper to mount to that we don't have. So we would need the whole rear axle from the UK or Japan, then the hub, caliper, etc. Looks to be around $4K for the conversion.

As for the 5 lug it may have been that Sunny installed the CR-Z rear axle and then the hubs, calipers and disks. We are talking about $8K with labor.

wow nice!!!
pls get more info on the CRZ conversion from Sunny!!
i am interested in getthing the CRZ 5 lug and disk conversion!
i have a break down here:

CRZ 5 lug hub+bearing 150x4 = 600
CRZ caliper used 150x4 = 600
CRZ rear axle 650
brake disk x4 200
pads f+r 150
parking brake line 100
Total= 2300

can u confirm with sunny if these are all it needs??
2300 parts and about 700 labor comes to 3k for both 5 lug and disk brake conversion are not too bad consider i have MUCH MUCH more wheels selection having 5x114.3!!

and will all the parts bolt on or it needs to be customized??

o man..... cant wait to hear from sunny about the necessary parts for the conversion!!! pls find out for me!!
cheers
