Default new parts on older models?

Is there any reason NOT to buy 2005 parts for my 2000? I'm speaking specifically about the plugs, ignition coils and headlamps maybe more, if I can get away from it.

If your buying new then what's the advantage

FYI there are some "technical" differences in 00-02 early production models. Somewhere in 02 but by 03 the models use _some_ different parts that will _not_ be interchangeable. The primary O2 sensor comes to mind. Ths list is long. Also (and of course) there are cosmetic differences in many trim pieces that you wouldn't want to mix and match (e.g. interior trim).

As to the specific items you list AFAIK if you'll check the PN's for an 00 vs. an 06 I doubt there is a difference.

HTH!
