Bluetooth Mod to open locks?
Hi guys - I've got an idea, but i don't know if it's feasible or even worth the effort. You know how the Prius has that cool proximity lock feature, where you walk up to the car and it automatically unlocks the doors? Would this be possible using some sort of "receiver" that is connected to the locking mechanism inside the Insight? You could walk up to the car with your Cell phone and it would auto-unlock the doors. It's easy enough for the Parrot Bluetooth car kit to automatically connect to your BT cell phone and route it through the stereo. Shouldn't something like this for our locks be fairly easy to develop? Am I totally off here?
