Block heaters and cargo mats in the UK.
I am looking for a rear cargo mat in perfect condition in the UK. Honda appear to have discontinued the line according to my dealer. Any ideas on where to get one?
Re Block heaters these seem to be available in US 110-120v form only. This is only a minor problem for us in the UK, and does not require the purchase of a big adapter or transformer.
Just use a 600 or 800v 6A diode in series with the heater and the power to it will effectively be reduced by 50%. It should not burn out in normal use on 240v AC UK mains.
If anyone has a block heater they want to sell, i'm interested in one of those as well.
