Looks fantastic. Great choice of colour - there is a special edition S2000 the same sort of shade (but not chameleon!).

I love it!
Now all you've got to do is take off work and bring it to Hybridfest this summer! You could caravan with Mike Dabrowski!
Seriously though, how much does a job like that cost?
tough to say... i had some other repairs done as well (deer damage). the chameleon paint itself is 400 per pint and it took 2 pints to paint the car- so that's 800 + base coat + clear coat + labor
i'm friends w/ the owner or the shop that did it, so it cost me $4000 for the paint and body work. worth every penny.
Dude! Awsome! I've had that idea in the back of my head ever since I bought my Insight years ago, but never had the heart, or extra cash laying around to sand off good factory paint. Is that the DuPont Chrome illusion paint?
That reminds me of a very special car. GM EV1 vin number 84 was the test vehicle for the Chrome Illusion paint back in 96/97 I think it was. http://ev1-club.power.net/980627/illusion.jpg
Supposedly that car was leased for a few years after it made it's show rounds.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!! My husband has connections and we would just have to pay for paint, but the only thing I may add would be a top coat of glitter. I once saw a beetle with a glitter top coat and it was really nice, you could not see it unless in the sun, it was subtle.
