Default Where does the cardboard go without an a/c condenser

I must be the only one without A/C. The threads that talk about doing the cardboard mod explain to drop the cardboard in between the radiator and the a/c condenser.

Where I think the cardboard would go on my 2000 has a bunch of empty space and it would just flop around.

oooh! You have a plastic cover to the passenger side of the radiator! Neat! Since I took my AC radiator out, I just have a gaping hole (covered with cardboard).

I'm off to Majestic to look for the part...

Plan for this effective size and fit it horizontally (larger may be OK as long as its COLD outside). Mine stays in 'til daytime temps reach the low 80's (26C)

1-6x17" cardboard piece & +10 MPG! Yup no lie

Add just enough length to be as wide as the metal flanges of the radiator. Then use metal spring clip type paper clips to pinch it in place along the edges of the radiator. If you tuck the cardboard down tight at the bottom it should be held well enough (I hope )

HTH!
