Default HELP! INSTALLING THE ROSTRA CRUSIE CONTROL MOD

I live in Phoenix, AZ, and am looking for someone to install the kit (which I've already purchased). While I'll call the a Dealer Service Manager, maybe somebody knows of someone else who can do it?

Please reply promptly with any suggestions.

Thanks,

Ricco

Default Rostra Cruise

Some shops that do stereo or alarm installs also do cruise controls. You could take it to a local Honda dealer too. At least their supposed to know where everything is. Call around, you'll find somebody. And good luck...

PS The install documents provided with the cruise control are very good, that should help too.

Default Rostra Cruise Control Installed

Thanks Jack (and Ricky in Glendale, AZ) for your suggestions. I found someone close to home by asking the manager of a local Checker Auto Parts store for a referral. The install in my CVT 2002 Insight looks factory, and the control switch was mounted in the lower left quadrant of my steering wheel, like the D/S switch in the lower right quadrant. Tested it out on a 400 mile round-trip that weekend and it worked great, also allowing the regen recapture and gas-saving coasting features to perform just as if my leg was doing the work on the gas pedal.

Thanks,

Ricco
