Default Installing air horns

As with my other post this may be a little plebian of a question for this forum but I can’t see where else to post it.

I would like to mount air horns in my Insight. Frank’s Rule: The smaller the vehicle the louder the horns. I had these on my motorcycle and. have used them every time thereafter.

Two questions:

As before, can anyone think of why this might be a stupid idea?

Where can I pick off a signal line for the extra horn relay? I haven’t been able to find the Insight’s horn or horn relay yet. I’m too fat to fit under the car and can’t see the horn from above. I made a bracket for the cruise control when I installed that so I figured I would mount the compressor there, and maybe the relay too.

Frank.

I've always liked these Hella horns if there is room to mount them - no compressor required and they're VERY loud, like a Mercedes horn:

Finding the horn: open hood, have someone sit in the car and toot the horn, and locate the source of the noise?

Let me know if you install the horn, and how much work it was. I would love to do this too.

The Mazda 3 has a pretty good sounding (and loud) horn, which I'm thinking of installing...

Thanks Tubes,

I really need to improve my chops with the search function. That's the way I will go for the fist pass. Maybe I'll add my air horns, but I doubt it.
