First please review the rules regarding pics in posts.

http://www.insightcentral.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42
(specifically rule #7)

And please note each individual pics size limits too. Remember many members are still on dial-up and one too large with too high a resolution can take several minutes each to load for viewing.

The number you apparently tried to post would have likely resulted in their removal to links only. And since you only posted the paths as they exist on your harddrive I edited your post above to remove the invalid use of the img function.

The pics must already be uploaded to the web somewhere first for the img function to "work". See the link in my sig for one domain choice. Then see:

"Sticky" (top of the list)

hi dloop...
i m glad that you ask... i've been researching for suspension upgrade for a long time now...not that easy indeed....

these is not much shocks travel for insight’s suspension, so I was just concentrating on finding short stroke shocks for fixed height springs and shocks combinations, or full length adjustable coil-over system, which you don’t adjust the height from the perches that the spring that sitting on, instead you adjust the height from the shock sleeves that where the spindle is bolted on to…

the only compatible front coil-over is the Megan (China mainland parts, not the Mugan) front coil-over set for 2002 up civic, that’s a full length adjustable and the arms for the steering tie rod are lowed by 2 inches then the factory one, which will compensate the change of toe when you low you car. (comment excessive toe-in problem when lowering the new civic w/ McPherson syspension)

for the back, I hvn’t frond anything yet…cuz the shock only hv like a inch of travel, plus the shocks themselves are only 13inches long …maybe I should start looking into motorcycle rear shocks…
and the insight spring weight is 110 bls/in front, and 90 bls/in back...
it will be a challenge for find the right spring weight for the insight since its so light…

I would love to hear more comments on syspentions if anyone hv found any info…

Cheers
John
