Disconnect the 12v for about 1 minute. Then expect an IMA 144v battery recal / forced charge on restart.

Default Check Engine Reset?

Won't that reset the computers stored codes? I want to keep them if possible.

So I can check later if this is the Oxygen sensor problem, the one where nothing is wrong. Or is there a way to jump any pins in the connector to get the check engine light to blink the codes?

You need a scan tool for that job.

Yes you can pull the blink codes but troubleshooting with them is much more limited than OBDII codes.

Search the forums there's a recent thread in here on the topic.

HTH!

Pulling the 12V will turn off the CEL if whatever problem made the CEL turn on is gone. If the problem persists, the CEL will persist.

In any case, the code is stored and won't be erased if 12V is dropped. Codes are erased only when a ODB2 scanner tells it to erase the stored codes.

This is different for the IMA system, loose the 12V (or fuse 18 ) and whatever made the IMA light come on is lost forever.
