Default Front tweeters

Anyone have any suggestions for tweeters to mount on the panels at the front of the windows?

Almost anything will work, but if you're going to put tweeters on the little triagular pieces in front of the windows, you're going to have to have fairly small, sufrace-mountable tweeters. I have Alpine Type-R 6.5" speakers and the tweeters fit fine.

Just pull that piece off and take it to your local audio shop.

I got to ride in an Insight that had tweeters located just slightly north west of the woofers in the doors and the imaging was very good.

I placed my tweeters just in front of the door handles on the door panels...they sound amazing there.

i have 4, a pair for the driver and a pair for the passenger, hanging from the headliner at the top of the windshield. each person has a nice stereo image right in front of them.

Mine are on the front window thingy, and it sounds great. They are about 1-5/8" and say MB Quartz on them. The system was in my car when I bought it, and I wouldn't change anything.
