Want to do 3 switches: FAS, Disable Assist/Regen, Max-Regen

I am a relative new comer with some EE knowledge. Picked up a MY2001 about a month ago and took a major hit on MPG with new tires. I am looking for a way to get back some of those lost MPG’s (without having to go back to the OEM tires), and read everything there is about these three mods:

1. Calpod’s Forced Auto Stop (FAS)
2. Calpod’s Disable Assist/Regen switch to clutch
3. Corey’s Max-Regen switch to brake

The last two above seem simple and I will put two separate switches—a toggle for #2 and a momentary for #3.

However, I still have few questions about FAS:

- Is the “Add a circuit” approach onto the #7 fuse enough? Or, should I install a relay to cut off injector?

- If it’s latter, do you have any pictures or any diagrams (or more description) on where and how to tap the injector wires? (I don't have the Service Manual yet.)

- Does anyone have all these three switches and used them in combination? Can you use them all effectively? (I do not have m1ma.)

The three mods should work just fine without the M mod, you may also want to consider the relay version of the FAS, and include the new Highwater FAS dc/dc keep alive addition so you can FAS for as long as you would like without depleting the 12V battery.
