Default "Force" Charging

Using the "hold the engine just over 3000rpm" method, does anyone know roughly how long it would take to bring a pack up from 50% SOC to 100% SOC?

Thanks

High tech question.

Temperature will play a noticable factor too. Should be easy enough to try it for yourself.

If you did the more conventional reset (disconnect then reconnect the 12v to force an IMA recharge to full) it varies based on the beginning SoC and temperature. Usually 3-4 minutes is sufficient.

IIRC there have been credible posts that if done with a beginning high SoC the time factor is shorter.

HTH!

Hadn'y thought of the 12v disconnect trick, I may play when I get home, if I have time as I am finishing the build of the race car.
