Default MIMA Pack Whack can erase recals?

I expect that this post will be trashed like any others that have to do with MIMA, but hopefully the Moderators will see that this new experiment is something that could benefit and be of interest to all of the people that are having regular recals on their packs, and will at least leave it up so that the readers can follow our experiments.

Would be nice if non-mima users could wack it in a similiar way.

Sure would, but it seems that the standard IMA does not allow regen when it thinks it is full, and only gets into the hardware voltage detect condition on good packs, where the SOC top end correctly matches actual capacity?

It is as though the recal point is really the actual charge bottom point that has drifted up to an artificially high SOC level on the guage, and you never can reach the actual full charge point cause it is off the scale, and the regen is limited before the SOC can get there, so you have to live with the lower capacity? MIMA is limited by the actual max SOC rather than the guage based one that the IMA is limited by.
The further testing that Ed Zandee will be doing should give us more information.
I will swap my other two battery packs into my car and run some cycles and hope that one of them will do recals so I can add to the data.

Sounds to me like I/we need to add MIMA then. Your info is highly appreciated.
