One of the coolest things that I saw at Altwheels in Boston last week was Mike Lewis and his gold Insight, pulling a 400lb trailer with his championship electrathon racer. Who says an Insight cannot pull a trailer.
Mike put a steel angle on the front inside of the spare tire box, and another outside, and attached the trailing end of the trailer hitch arm to the aluminum rear bumper. It was solid and looks like a great addition to the car.
