Here are some pictures of the LED interior lights on my Honda Insight. The first picture shows the Oznium.com 4 chip superflux UV LED dome light, the second picture shows the 1W white LED map lights, and the third picture shows the 9 LED white festoon trunk/cargo light. Next are the license plate lights and front parking lights, which are going to get some white LEDs...
The trunk/cargo light is also pretty cheap, but does take some patience to fit into the stock bulb housing as the bulb is slightly longer than factory but will eventually fit and work: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-HID- ... enameZWDVW
japanev1, Awesome, I got the maps, and the trunk light just now, and what about the light in the center of the two maps, is there a cheap bright white option for that one too?

So, is this modification purely aesthetic, or are you changing these bulbs for some other reason?
The primary reason is aesthetic, as the soft glow of LED light is much more pleasing and modern than the antiquated yellowish incandescent bulb which can make the Insight cabin feel tired and dated. The second reason is energy conservation. The stock Insight uses 8x 5W 168/194/2825 wedge and 1x 5W DE3021 festoon type bulbs for a total of 45W not counting the headlights, taillights, and turn signal bulbs (albeit only the 2 parking, 2 side marker, and 1 license plate bulb are always on with the headlights; the 2 map, 1 dome, and 1 DE3021 trunk/cargo festoon bulb are only on when switched on). When replaced with 1W LED bulbs only 9W are used saving 36W from being drawn from the Insight's 12V system, and less draw on the 12V system means ever so slightly better gas mileage. Adding an HID conversion kit with relay is expensive, but also reduces draw on the 12V system as HID bulbs run at 35W compare to 55W halogens. In the long run it might be hard to calculate any actual fuel savings from LED bulbs, but the visual appeal is well worth the small investment.
Are all 8 5w bulbs replaceable with the 1w led used on the map lights, or are they all different?
I am looking in the service manual, do the 5w taillights stay on with headlights too? (edit: they must be combo bulbs, that double as higher intensity brake lights too, huh? hence the 21/5w)
i would also like to replace whatever lights stay on with the headlights.
