JC Whitney Center Arm Rest

I purchased the JC Whitney Universal Center Armrest for my 2000 Insight and thought I would post some pictures.

The color is very close to the original and the extra storage is much appreciated. The height is adjustable if you use the mounting hardware. However, I removed all the hardwared and just have it wedged in place. The height is just right to rest my elbow while driving and this allows me to still use the moderate amount of storage below as well.

What color wet okoles are those?

I just ordered them in light grey (21), but yours look much lighter than other pics I've seen.

if those are (21), I may get charcoal instead, these seem lighter than I'd thought.

I just bought the Black color armrest, item # H50-1006A, stock # 13-5858 from JC Whitney and it looks great. It has a nice big storage bin and nicely padded top. I'll need to modify the metal attachment arms and shorten them 1-2" as it sits up higher than the door arm rest. I'd like them both to be the same height for comfort.

NOTE: I had the "Armrest King" armrest in my other Insight, and that armrest sat too low, (lower than the door armrest), storage space was 1/2 of the JC Whitney and the top pad was only 1/2 as big as the JC Whitney.

Overall, I'd personally recommend going with the JC Whitney armrest.

Cost: $40.99 plus $1.00 insurance plus shipping.
