A lot of us on here have hot air mods and rad blocks etc to improve combustion effciency and I'm sure we have thought about heating the fuel slightly to help improve combustion.
I was just looking at the alloy pressurised fuel line which runs across the top front of the engine. Could we not wrap a heat exchanger around it (Copper tubing) then insulate it and pass some hot water through it from the IC heating system? Or use a thermostatically controlled electric heater, a lot of diesel vehicles in UK use heaters to prevent fuel waxing.

We would have to keep the temp down to <50C I imagine to prevent premature vaporisation and air locks.
Any comments?
