Default Insight Stereo Upgrade - CD Head Unit and 4 Speakers $90

I just installed this head unit and the 6.5 speakers in my "new to me" 2000 Insight.
It was a breeze to install. It fit perfect, no mods needed.
This seems like a fantastic deal so I wanted to share...

Has anyone installed 6 x 9 speakers in an Insight?
If so, where?

To make the install even easier, I purchased some wiring adapters on eBay, so no splicing needed.

Wiring adapters:

for the head unit:
Scosche SMHA08SON16B 1998 - Up Honda to Sony Direct 16 pin Connector
from Volunteer Automotive and Car Audio - eBay

for the speakers:
Honda Insight Speaker Wiring Harness
Scosche SHHA02B 1990 - Up Honda / Acura Universal Speaker Harness
from Volunteer Automotive and Car Audio - eBay

UPDATE: (I gave up on the idea of installing 6 x 9s) seems like it is too tight behind the seats and installing 6 x 9s in the hatchback area would take quite a bit of modification.

I installed the Sony 6.5 speakers behind the seats in the factory holes (had to drill 2 small screw holes each to install) very easy.
I replaced the front speakers with Kenwood KFC-1661S 6-1/2"/6-3/4" 3-way Speakers (113KFC1661) from Crutchfield.com for $50. These are an exact fit. No mods needed to install.

Adding rear speakers adds dimensional space to the soundstage and reinforces the bass quite a bit. So it is well worth the small price and it is easy to do as the rear speaker factory wiring is already there in place.

not as much how, but where is there possible room to install where there is enough clearance depth-wise?

Thanks for the tip! I bought this stereo and the head unit adapter, and it's awesome! Major upgrade over the stock stereo. This was the first car stereo that I've replaced, and it was a breeze. Everything matched up perfectly just like stated (note- pull metal sleeve off stereo to expose the screw holes.) I now have an IPOD adapter right in the stereo front. Since the 6X9's that came with the set wouldn't fit, I sold them on Craigslist for $25.00 in a day, making my total price under $75.00! I installed the round speakers in the back and they fit perfectly and sound much richer with four speakers. For the rear speakers, the holes and speaker wires are already there, and I would not recommend cutting the carpet as others have done. I simply pulled back the carpet in the back by pulling the few large plastic pins out, and by loosening the seatbelt interior panel, and removing the long thin strip panel that goes under the doors. The speaker wires were easy to match up, go to http://www.dennisjudd.com/car.html he's got it well laid out. Thanks Atomicmiata!
