Default GSM aftermarket alarm installation, TWO remotes needed?

I purchased an after market GSM paging alarm for my Insight. I'm a bit paranoid of the car getting stolen as they get more rare
and the price of gas goes up more.
My question is how doe one normally deal with these after market alarms as far as the remote, etc? Do I carry both on me and unlock the car first
with the honda remote, then disable the new alarm with it's own remote ? Maybe there is a way to trigger the honda security system off from the after market alarm, with it's door unlock signal ? I can live with two key remotes but it seems so crude. I don't need all the parking light flashing features, or the trunk unlock, etc.

I need to add a tilt sensor as well, as the tow away option is always a threat these days. Oh, I found out that the factory immobilizer is easy to defeat, unfortunately. Just look on ebay for honda immobilizer. Sad but true.

Any installer experts out there ?

Default Re: GSM aftermarket alarm installation, TWO remotes needed?

update: the immobilizer bypass kits for alarm systems still need to be programmed with the cars key, so it's still a fairly secure system. The way around it is to swap the ecu during the heist, but that seems pretty involved and unlikely.

Towing is still the biggest threat. Who pays attention to a tow truck messing with a car these days...

I guess it will be two key fobs for me then, unless there is a smarter way to do this.
