Default Questions Regarding Stock Rims / Tires....and mods

Does anyone know the exact weight, width, and back spacing of the stock insight rim? How about the spare rim and tire? (Thinner and/or lighter yet?) Has anyone experimented with a lighter and/or thinner aftermarket rim and tire set-up, just to see what can be achieved in mpg gains, with only this as a variable? I realise safety would be compromised for road use, but it would be very interesting to see what can be gained on long flat straights (or even in a controlled test, such as a large banked circle track.) Extreme rolling resistance! I'm considering trying such a test. Input? Anyone?

The spare wheel is lighter and thinner than the OEM wheel and I'm sure you could find a thinner tire for it. However, I'm not sure you could find an adequate tire with less rolling resistance than the OEM Bridgestone.

Also consider the aerodynamics of the stock wheel, since we know (thanks to forum posters on this site) that just about any substantial change to the aero functions on our Insights reduce miles-per-gallon... why fight with Honda's zillions of dollars of R&D findings? Stock wheels and tires on our cars have been proven to derive the best mileage performance...
