Default U.K. Front No. Plate now fully aero

Here is what I have done to my UK number plate.... but I will be having another couple of tries to get rid of the duff "M" and other minor spacing faults and I think it will look better with small rads on each corner.........

Note that it is totally illegal as it is not vertical, not tall enough, not wide enough, has smaller bike size letters, has incorrect spacing to make a "B" and is generally pushing it's luck on all fronts. Note that the plate has to be cut vertically to form the shallow "V" shape of the bumper.

I really do like the bumper line now the "blimp" of a mounting plate has gone..I may stick a full size plate onto the bonnet to emulate an "E " type Jag!

Stick on backgrounds are quite hard to find in this politically correct world, but good old Trago Mills (Liskeard branch) came up trumps. Most car and bike shows have a stand that flogs such stuff

I thought you could paint your numbers on the hood. Aren't there old Jags and stuff that have them way off vertical?

Roger

Sadly that should fail the UK MOT next time.

However 10 seconds work with the old plate back on for MOT and back off again afterwards should sort that!

Now I don't condone breaking the law and as a BIB I would/could not do this myself.

Speaking as an officer on patrol, you would not be high on my priority list

But you may get pulled you never know
