Default Is the TPS also known as MAP sensor?

I'm attempting to install the TPS mod, but so far, I haven't been able to find the location of the TPS. Is it labeled as MAP on the sensor itself? Illustration #11 in this drawing? http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/aut ... OTTLE+BODY

Also, in the tps mod, would the positive leg of the cap connect to the red wire going to the sensor(after you cut the red wire) or the red wire going to location unknown, since it dissappears into a plastic cover.

I think TPS and MAP are 2 different things

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor
MAP = Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor

TPS sensed the position of the throttle plate, while the MAP senses the pressure in the manifold

The TPS and MAP are indeed different sensors.

IMO the mods are of limited value with potential detrimental emissions consequences. Such has been exhaustively discussed in the past. Multiple threads on the same topic especially by the same OP are discouraged here at IC (your recent eariler thread, this reads more like a follow-up).

If you don't know the difference maybe you should reconsider DIY. Or IMO even at all.
