I had been warned here about possible damage to the underbody from snow and ice, but nevertheless, on my first drive in bad snow I had problems. People here mentioned adding a re-enforcement to the underbody, but no one had photos. So I just went at it myself. I just put up a web page with photos of what I did. Last week I drove up into a deep, snowy, icy, slushy mess in Toronto and seem to have come out of it unharmed. Even from driving and parking on unplowed side streets. I'm happy!
But back to your mod... beautiful, just beautiful. Hats off to you! I bet others in harsher climes will follow your lead...
