5W20 oil vs ?

This is not about a heater, but it is about the oil that goes into our Insight cars.
I have put only 5W20 oil in the engine.

Is there something to be said for using something else?

Something to be said about heavier viscosity oil Yup. Uses up some MPG's the would be available otherwise. A small loss and more significant in colder weather (where other losses also take their toll), but a loss none the less.
