From the moment I sat in my first Insight I felt like I was in a hole in the ground looking up. It was not difficult to make some 3/4 inch hardwood blocks (the front ones are trickier) and replace the bolts with 40mm bolts. An air impact wrench helps to conquer the threadlock on the originals. I followed up with Okoles with an extra inch of foam underneath.

Now more comfort, easier getting in and out, and better visability.

I have a pair of S2000 seats. They are not bolted in just setting in the car.
Those are super low, its hard to see , and a pain to get in and out. Will
raise them a couple inches up after I get the seat bracket fabrication finished.

Overall they are more comfortable than the Insight seats.

Plus they definately look better.
