Default Mounting and readouts for Scanguage II

Just got my new toy. I was wondering where people are mounting them. I know there is at least one magnet mount under the radio on the console and that looks like a place that the velcro would work as well. Other locations?

What about wire routing?

What do people like to see running routinely?
One recommendation that I have is the LOD/ LBN on the guage to judge when in lean burn, and the manifold and engine temp to monitor the engine block. Other recommendations?

Thanks

I have mine mounted above the rearview mirror.

Had not occurred to me. How much of a hassle was routing the cable under the headliner and down the A pillar?

Tnx

I mounted mine with the velcro just underneath the radio. I have been happy with that location over the past 8,000 miles or so. I ran the wire up from the gap between the lower dash and the center console. It's exposed, but not very noticeable.

Some have drilled a hole underneath the radio lower trim panel and run the wire through that. I didn't because I don't like drilling holes in my Insight.

It was pretty easy. I had to take out the A pillar garnish (plastic), but that was all.

I've heard of some people mounting it in the "driver's storage compartment". (The little flip-down box under the power window switches.)
