Default Grid Charger Buyers List

I'm back on the case with this and have sent some specs to a chinese maker of PSU's for a quote for a laptop brick for our grid charger. They seem quite keen.

Initial/sample order probably be 100 units.

So we need to start a list of those who want to buy one.

I'll have 10 as I will sell one to anyone I do a battery recon for. That leaves 90.

Please add your Proper Name and IC User name and quantity reqd to the below list.

To add your name etc just copy the list text from the previous post into your own and add your details to the bottom before posting it.

Price we don't know yet, but I won't be buying any if they are more than $100 US each.

Name ---------- IC Name --- Country - Quantity Reqd

This is provided they can be used to charge the entire pack, and can run on 110V.

Would these just be dumb current limited chargers? Or will they be capable of determining when the battery is charged?
Depending on the current capability I might be interested in 2, one for each of my two packs to replace my LM317hv based charger. Cost for each unit would also have to be under $100 each.

Dumb.

Simply 175v CC & CV 250 ma supplies, so they will continue to pump 250ma into battery as long as they are connected or it accepts it.

Thanks for moving this forward, Peter. If you could include a battery wiring harness, appropriate diodes, socket, and instructions for installation as well, all the better.

Sadly Gents this fell at the first hurdle, and the PSU Maker I was talking too has said our volume is too low so no go

However check the grid/charger thread for another update.

So even if we hit 100, that's not enough to enter the 100 meter hurdles, eh?
