Engine dimensions

Can anyone help me out by measuring the basic dimensions (height, length, width) of the 1st Gen insight engine? Is there another place to look for these dimensions? I am considering using the 1st gen insight engine in a project, and I wanted to see if I could get some basic dimensions before I decide whether the engine is suitable.

You may have to search the forum a little further.

Several years ago, there was someone who made an 'engine blanket' for the Insight engine, to maintain heat in the winter.

He obviously had fairly exact dimensions to allow him to sew up the zipped blanket.

If you can find that thread, you may be able to contact him for those dimensions your after.
