Question CVT Start Clutch Calibration Procedure

I have a 2000 5spd and a 2001 CVT. Can anyone tell me what pin on the DLC is used for shorting the SCS, without using the HD tool?

It is pin 9 (located in one of the corners). I believe it has a small number 9 next it (hard to read - may need a flashlight and magnifying glass).
