Could you take some more pics of any specs/labels it has on it please.
There's not a lot to see as far as markings go.
I have added more close up photos of the inverter and other components to my Enginer PHEV photo set on flickr.

I always know where the SOC is on both batteries.

Time will tell, at least he has two options.
Mike confirmed for me that he is using a different attachent point than Mark is using.

Mike said he is using the top posts on the Insight's pack, as opposed to the side.

Here is a photo that shows the top attachment point.

The pictue was taken standing on the rear bumper looking down into the battery pack area. (obviously I removed the cover to the system so you can see the components.) P1090437 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Notice the two orange-wrapped high voltage wires side by side that go horizontally left to right in the picture.
They end just above the pack on/off switch.
One has a red colored connector on the end.
The other has a black colored connector on the end.
These are the points Mike D uses for his VBoost system.

Default Option 4? and PIMA back-to-back setpoints

I think that most everyone has that version.
Option 4 is news to me. You haven't put it in the MIMA operation web page yet.

I'm digging through the archives and have not found much about it.

Added more photos with possible routing option for connection to battery.
Photos of specs for the Thundersky battery charger.
Photo of the On/off switch for the system.
Pics of total weight of items. 52 lbs of batteries. 20 lbs of other stuff.
Another photo of battery placement. They would be taller on their sides, so this is the shortest height. leave ~1/2" between stock battery compartment and the booster battery packs. The batteries themselves should not get hot. The converter of course will.

I did not put it on the MIMA instruction page because I was the only one with a boost system, and it still needs a bit of debugging.
I hope to get back into the code in the near future. I have a lot of things I hope to add and modify.
I made a thread about some of the code changes I have in mind.

MIMA software V2.0

The AUX1 output is a pad just below the AUX board connector on the distribution board.

Ron,
Here are pics of the mock up battery placement,

Do you think this will be too little room for ventilation between the add-on batteries and the stock pack?
Looks like only 1/2" or so.

Here is a pic showing what the stock amount of room is between the spare cover and the stock battery compartment.IMG_0351 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
~ 2 3/4"

I don't think so. Here is a picture of where the exhaust vent is.

You may need to add another vent. Perhaps in the vertical part of the lid, or to the right of the battery (passenger side)?

I think that will be alright and you don't need another vent.

The battery draws air from the cabin and exhausts it via those ventilation holes. The IPU compartment has quite a few gaps where the air can escape anyway.

Thanks guys.
I'll be away from the project for about a week so there won't be any updates until next Thursday.

I've been working with Mike D about integrating the Enginer system with the MIMA system. I really appreciate all his help. I've also been dry fitting some of the Enginer components as well.
With school starting, though, a few other family matter have been taking precedence.
