Default Searching for European Instrument Panel Garnish to Swap Out US version

For over a year, I've been looking for an European COVER ASSY., CENTER (LOWER) but I live in the USA and I don't want to make lots of international phone calls. Does anyone know where to purchase one online?

I understand that ordering parts via online for European Honda OEM parts is next to impossible. Does anybody have a reliable source. I will accept a used panel too.

In Europe, they came this way from the factory, unlike the USA counterparts.

I was wondering how would you mount it in a US car. Because on the US cars, that panel has the 2 screw holes on the right side where the glovebox is and clips on the driver side. But on the UK cars, that panel would have the screws on the left (glovebox) side, and the clips on the driver side (right).

But I suppose you can cut and make it fit, because that mounting part of that panel doesn't really show when its all in place.

Good point 02insight. Some fabrication will be required but in the end should fit nicely. Now, if I can only locate one of these center panels? I love the possible discrete storage space for scangagues and ipods.

Default UK

This is the only UK breakers yard over here I know of with a UK car.

Try them.

Remember there are only 255 Insight MK1's in UK. So they are rarer than hens teeth and non existent in breakers yards.

ok good news and bad news...

bad news is even in mainland europe LHD has the same console as us. so it appears only RHD have double din.

good news is here are the part numbers for the rhd console and pocket

77280-S84-A11ZA - din pocket
77330-S3Y-003ZA - Lower cover RHD

so you might be able to order them through a UK honda site for about $200 for both parts.

after further searching, the DIN pocket came on american honda cars and goes for about $25 with an online dealer.
