Default Attention! Bridgestone Blizzak MZ03 owners!

What tire pressure should I be putting in my Bridgestone Blizzaks to gain maximum efficiency?

My plan is to run them in the break-in period of 500 miles at 38/35 and then raise the pressure to something more normal, but I'm not sure what to raise the pressure to.

Has anyone ever run 60 psi in these tires? Is that too much?

I'm surprised no one on the board has experience with the Bridgestone Blizzaks.....

I use the blizzaks, usually run at the max sidewall pressure.

Average about 60-65mpg around town unless its really cold or bad roads.

I bought a set of Blizzaks and steel wheels in 2003. I run 40psi in them.

I mount them in November and take them off around the end of March. I don't know how many miles I've put on them, but there's lots of tread left and they still work great!

I run blizzak ws60's on my 2003 Civic. Different tire, different size, different car, but FWIW I run them at 50 psi with good results. Not too big an MPG hit. Combined with more ethanol and colder temps winter is 5 or more mpg lower, but with only the tires, difference it is like 2-3 mpg.
