tire chains for New York snow - question

Just bought a 2002 cvt insight. Very excited. Except that it's starting to snow and no room in my apartment for snow tires in the spring.

Does any one have any advice on snow chains?

yes thanks...may have to be. But insight handbook does say that chains are ok. So long as small and don't hit casing. But ahhh yes, snow tires best.

JC Whitney has the same style, Z-chains.
both are a cable chain suitable to a tight clearence front wheel drive.

Welcome to the forum. I used to live in Harlem too, in the 140's and 5th ave. NYC does not get too much snow so if you stay local, you should be ok if your OEM tires are fairly new.

Yes tires should be cool for nyc, but will go to tirechains.com -- good to if I hit trouble in the catskills... etc etc.
